Display custom feeds for Facebook Pages, Groups, Events, Album Photos and Covers -Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube on pages, posts or widgets
FTS fit the bill for me. I've got a tidy little Facebook stream and Instagram stream for my site's footer. It fits into my site seamlessly from a visual design perspective.
Had an issue with the streams not working after an FTS update, but it got fixed thanks to the SlickRemix team. So glad I tried posting to the support board instead of moving on to another plugin. With a little patience, the SlickRemix team directed me to a version of the plugin that is now working smoothly for me. And I'm a non-premium user. (A nice surprise in a world where money talks.)
The plug-in does everything it claims and it does it well. But where it really excels is in the customer service, especially if you pay for the premium version (which is worth every penny).
I recently encountered an error that neither the developer nor myself could figure out. After a few attempts to try several different things, I just set up a new FTP account for the developer and they dug in and found the issue and not only fixed it, but found a few other issues to address in a future version. Every interaction was professional and quick.
Even without having a problem, the developer responds quickly to feature requests. If it's something simple, they'll implement it and get a new version out in just a couple of days.
I highly recommend plugins by SlickRemix.
Completed all settings as directed and nothing shows on our page.
Tested on multiple installs. Confirmed.
i have the premium version of this plug in and i've only just downloaded it (and am cautious about giving a too good review as I had a facebook plug in seem great and then play havoc with an entire site!) BUT the one thing I will say is the support is incredible, very fast, really helpful with custom CSS, really great to know there is good support.
It has tons of features that need to be unlocked in order to use. I feel it just sits there on my hosting space wasting away.
Using the premium for Pinterest feeds. Works great and great support!
I've been searching for a plugin like this for awhile now. I am not into free plugins, as most of the time, they are lacking in structure - both features and support. Though this plugin is "Free," I would highly recommend purchasing the premium product (I bought the combo pack). Best $34 I've spent on the site yet.
Only downfall is, which I brought to the authors attention, that there is no consumer engagement. Meaning, the plugin simply feeds the consumer information. I'd like to see some option such as, for Facebook, "Like," or for Twitter, "Tweet Us." Something along those lines.
The authors response was: "Oh yeah and at this time we do not have the option to show a like, tweet or follow button. In the future we’ll add those but for now we just kept it simple to test the waters."
Though I was originally concerned, his response assured me that they are more interested in perfecting the product rather than providing us with a system that only works 50% yet feature rich.
Do yourself a favor and download (purchase) the plugin.
The plugin is not only beautiful, but the support is speedy and very helpful! Fantastic!!
Why isn't this label Crippleware? This is one worst examples I've ever seen in the WordPress repository. I write themes, plugins, and understand that we all need to make money but this is just excessive. Tone it down a notch man.
Just what we were looking for: A great plugin for showing the Facebook page content in WordPress.
