Facebook's recommended plugin for adding Facebook Conversion Pixel code to WordPress sites.
This plugin is much needed for people looking to capitalize on Facebook ad conversion tracking.
Great to see the quick bug fix response by developer!
I reported an error with old, non-existent files causing 404s. Within an hour, Kellen had posted an updated plugin that fixed the issue. Couldn't be happier.
This plugin seems to work, but... Why do you have to paste and activate the code on every single post / page? It should be global and be inserted on every page of the website. As stated on Facebook's Docs (found here):
The code contains a pixel ID which is linked to your Facebook Ads account and is unique to that account (not your Facebook user account). The pixel code is the same for every audience you create. You only need to add one Custom Audience pixel to your entire website regardless of the number of audiences you create.
You can then create your audiences to match only people who have visited a specific URL!
I'm still trying to find a way to insert the pixel code once and for all, on every page!
When used with Facebook Website Conversions this plugin tracks a conversion when someone hits the product page, rather than Checkout Success page.
Dangerous - you MUST watch your campaign with this one or you'll be running ads when no one is converting, even though Facebook Ads reports back it is due to this plugin firing on the PRODUCT PAGE.
Installed it on my site and it works easy and great! Nice to be able to put it easily on different pages. And Kellen gave me some code to add it to the home page of the blog, and he'll be adding this feature in subsequent versions.
Completely broke the media library in WP 3.9.2
Disabled plugin and all is well. Give it a shot if you want to use it, but just remember if you see issues, try disabling it and see if they are resolved. No critical damage caused... just a couple hours of time in finding the issue.
Would love to see this resolved if possible.
Tested on four sites with different server configurations and various custom post types. Works like a charm! I would know!
