I like this plugin so far, it is quick and easy to install and highly compatible with my theme.
I wrote an article about the use of this kind of social plugins.
As my title states, does this plugin bring comments made on fb into your blog comments and vice versa?
Or solely gives the user the ability to use their fb credentials to comment on a blog?
This plugin doesn't show the Hebrew on all items.
The "like" and "reply" are still in English, and the "sort by" as well.
Also, there are comments counts in English and in Hebrew but they are not identical from some reason.
See example here: http://tinyurl.com/cuku3kq
Hope it will be fixed soon.
4 star for the plugin, and ONE EXTRA STAR for Alex for his brilliant support. Its easy to develop but difficult to maintain a FB plugin, given the fact that Facebook makes infinite changes to their SDKs all the time, and the plugin owner has to make sure the plugin remains compatible. Commendable work from the plugin developer.
After installing it and inputting my FB app ID it worked directly without any need to modify anything.
Thanks for great contribution.
A great plugin. I have tried multiple facebook comments plugin, but I have to admit that by far, this is the best one.
Another plugin 'SEO Facebook Comment' suddenly stopped working without warning, and as it appeared abandoned I started to look for a replacement.
This 'Facebook Comments' plugin seemed exactly what I was after, and well-reviewed, supported and current. Moving over was seamless, and none of my comments were lost or corrupted. (And as a bonus, the page load time seems slightly quicker).
Great work, Alex Moss. :-) I'm now off to see what other plugins you have ...
The plugin is very simple to use, and Alex is quick to respond to support threads. Thank you for building this plugin!
Very simple to integrate. Works great!
We tried this plugin, but have experienced nothing but issues. It intermittently fails, displaying no comments at all. This appears to only occur when a page is popular (exactly when you don't want it to fail) and has received numerous comments.
We reached out to the developer and received no response. I understand this is a free product, and I commend the developers for donating their time, but save yourself some headache and find a plugin that works more consistently.
