I tried it on two site, with many active feeds. It doesn’t got any article on any feed in a whole week, even if I can see those articles in my reader every day. I have to curate them manualy. Complete waste of time.
I don't see any posts in the content feed. I have tried reinstalling, and even installing an older version. I have also created a cron job like I saw advised to others who were having trouble.
Makes it easy to create content from anything you find on the web. Thoe who run newszine style blogs will love the ease of capturing quotes and adding their own views on the subject and quickly creating a new, relevant post as a result. 4/5 Stars
This is an amazing plugin. It has features I wasn't expecting, and the support in helping an old geezer learn has been great.
This plugin was added to my sites in December 2014 and worked well over three websites. Suddenly the chrome extension started playing up. Despite sending info and making Aram an administrator he failed to find any problem. it worked again on odd days . Next time it stopped I sent screen shots of problem . Aram still couldn't find a problem. We are online political magazine and everything packed up a few days before the election.Shit! I sent an abusive email. No reply. Fair call. Working in fits and starts. Can't be arsed going back to developers every few weeks. Was good now shit.
I have not been able to add rss feeds. Receive error messages about invalid RSS URL. Tried re-installing, no good.
Problem seems to lie in the getRssUrl function that looks up feeds externally, within the addFeed() method.
Above average plugin content curator plugin amongst other. Great Jobs!
Bets plugin for content curation and comes with great support. Good work!
In my search for curation plugins I had initially considered expresscurate as an option, but had not really started using it (I am too fussy). As I could not find anything which would fit my needs, I started trying some of them and finally settled on expresscurate. Now that I have got a hand on how to use it, I really appreciate your thoughts that have gone in producing such a fine system for curation.
A theme, plus a plugin, plus post creator, plus G+ authorship, plus a Chrome extension = expresscurate. And man, it's exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted a simple install, not bloated and hardware intensive. Page load speeds are fantastic. Posting is very easy, especially when you use their Chrome plugin.
Being only a handful of versions old, it's quite impressive. I'm hopeful that future versions will allow for a queue of scheduling posts (similar to a Buffer style setup). Only every now and then will I see minimal CSS problems, just little stuff and certainly not detrimental.
All in all, great plugin and a great job to the team. Thanks!
