The Exec-PHP plugin executes PHP code in posts, pages and text widgets.
concur with jea-kate, February 18, 2015 for WP 4.1
Also true in 4.1.1
Not recommended if you want editors that can make corrections to posts and page content of others, or have multiple authors contributing to one post or page. Those privileges are revoked by Exec-PHP. Other than that, it's peachy.
This plugin enables me to do PHP mysql and all sorts of good stuff in pages and widgets.
And it works great. No problems at all.
Not sure if HHVM works or not, but apache php-mod and php5-fpm both work well.
Still pushing and working great ;D
Just inster php code anywhere... :)
You can't switch between visual and html mode in the editor with this plugin, but if you only use the html editor, this works fine.
Très vieux plugin mais qui fonctionne parfaitement encore en 2014. Le meilleur de ceux que j'ai testé, n'oblige pas à utiliser des shortcodes mais tout simplement permet de coder en php comme on en a l'habitude !
I always use this plugin in my all wp website. it helped me a lot
This plugin is simply awesome! 2 years of no activity yet it works beautifully !
Even as this plugin hasn't been updated in a while it is an essential addition to WP. I use it for adding PHP code to the widget area of my websites. Careful handling is advised though, as PHP execution in posts, pages and widget areas can lead to unforeseen consequences. But if you know what you're doing, this is the right plugin for the job!
