Using all the Cloud (paid - slightly lossy) processing options worked best for me. I had a glitch at the start, but got to experience the author's customer service which was fantastic.
I now don't have to go nuts trying to convince contributors with few technical skills to compress the images they upload for web.
user from last few years, this is great plugin
Great plugin and the Support was perfect and fast!.
Works on in Multisite.
Thx to author
with just a few clicks!
What a horrible experience. It's called Ewww for a reason. I trusted the high number of downloads. Cost me time, money and embarrassment with my client. It kept hanging during the optimization. Little did I know it was deleting images.
I'm using EWWW Image Optimizer with several WP sites and it really helps reducing page download times and backup sizes. It's also very stable.
Overall I rate it A+
Thanks a million!
reduced load speed of site by over 50%
Very bad experience on a shared hosting website. Half of all my clients images crashed and could not be recovered without recovering a back-up. Hours of work gone.
Furthermore it made the website very slow, which is odd for a website on fast servers with SSD and the latest updates.
For me a NO GO!
Ajoutez désactiver optimisation pendant les uploads serai bien.
Pendant que je upload je désactive le plugin , je préfaire faire par étape le scan d'images.
Ce plugin est fabuleux surtout lorsque on an plus de 10 000 image !.
Easy and effective, that's what I like. The best image optimization available, imo, and hard to believe it's free.
