Add some meta-datas to posts to convert them into full calendar events : begin, end, location, color
Thanks for very useful plugin
Very very happy the author decided to create 'Event post', I think it's the first plugin after the mythical 'Event Calendar 3 for PHP 5.3' allowing to create an event from a 'normal' post!
I'm testing 'Event post' in local and I appreciate its features, but I'm still using 'Event Calendar 3 for PHP 5.3' for my website http://www.gallinagiacinto.it, because it has options and layout control 'Event post' hasn't (yet!).
Since 'Event Calendar 3 for PHP 5.3' seems has been abandoned, I suggest the author to take a look at it, 'cause I'm sure some features could be implemented in future releases.
Five stars because I'm sure many people were waiting for it and to encourage the author to continue developing this beautiful and useful plugin:-)
This is exactly was I was looking for: the ability to gather several events on the same map.
However I got some conflicts with my theme (Graphene) and had to alter slightly some of the provided CSS and php files.
To get 5 stars, it would require some more customization options and polishing !
Thanks a lot
Great plugin! The ablility to turn a post into an event was exactly what I needed! Awesome! :) BUT.. Unfortunately I have had to disable this plugin because of two major problems.
1. An event with todays date will always be created when I add a new post, and I dont need events all the time.. just sometimes. I suggest having a checkbox or something that says e.g. 'add event to this post' or so.
2. For some strange reason the plugin breaks the image editor in the media library. I can no longer crop images when this plugin is enabled.
I really hope these problems can be fixed so I can use this plugin again because it's great and I really need this functionality. :)
This is a really great plugin, what I was looking for to make adding events easy for the clients who struggle with basic WordPress admin. I wanted a way for them to create a blog article, and if it coincided with an event, to add event details, then pull that data into an events page (as opposed to having a separate Events calendar plugin) It's pretty great that it has Google calendar and ical integration.
It needs a little finesse, as some of the translation into English has left me needing to go into the php and edit titles that the clients see. such as change 'Event Datas' to 'Event Information', and changing the interface design a bit (such as date and time opacity so it's not invisible until you hover over it).
I'd also like to be able to order the event list by date, with the newest first, and because support is French, I cannot find how to do this or if the plugin supports this. I'd also like it to use Google Maps rather than openmap, as openmap cannot find the addresses some of the time.
Still, it's great and I do recommend it.
