I've been using Paul Menard's Media Tags plugin for years, but with all the Media Library UI changes, it's become impossible to use tags when selecting a featured image or other image object. With sites that have rich image libraries, this is a pain.
Enter EML. It fits smoothly into the media workflow. It's easy and intuitive to use. I like being able to define multiple taxonomies: I use one for topics (e.g., mountains, trees) and one for the size/crop (e.g., home page feature, project slider). Happy day!
If EML supported bulk assignment of terms, it would be worth at least 6 stars. Fortunately I found that the Pro version does. Just upgraded and it is SWEET. Thanks!
I have thousands of images on my sites and this plugin works perfectly to help me organize and find what images I need. I wish I could give it 10 stars!
I have 100's of images on my personal website that I've just migrated over to WP. I use a lot of galleries, so being able to categorize (or "group") those images was critical. This plug-in was the single most helpful one I used. Thanks!
Does what it promises, and very easy to use.
Easy to use, does what it says. Even free version works great. You can't bulk assign categories, but I just work through anything I add to my library on a one by one basis, and it's still very quick to do (you can use the forward arrow on your keyboard). Nice work!
I treat this like default wordpress plugin.
Does what it says, more impressing the developer is active and supports the product well.
Updates are good and timely. Keep up the good work!
Anybody who has more than 40-50 images needs this, IMO. That WP doesn't have this functionality built in is crazy. I used free version for a while, and now use the Pro version.
I was pulling my hair out because of all the images and no way in WP to organize them. Went on a search and found Enhanced Media Library. I love this plugin! Not only does it make it easy to organize large media libraries, but it also is intuitive. When I first downloaded it I was afraid it was going to be too 'technical', but it wasn't. Within minutes my library was organized. Finding the correct image now is a matter of searching under the proper categories. Wow, what a concept.
I would recommend it to any website developer or website owner with lots of images to manage. I'll be using it on all my image intensive websites going forward.
