i received emails from those who downloaded at the beginning, then it didnt send any email notifications at all. So you loose your emails while giving away your download and you never know it until you check number of actual downloads and wonder: where have they gone? Then you test it and realise its no longer working. Forum support has not helped and others reported the same issue. Really unimpressed and frustrated as the settings were not changed or touched at all in the process. not recommended at this stage.
Is there an update coming for WP 4.3.1? When is it expected?
Which other plugin can be recommended which is doing the same and is made for WP 4.3.1?
Thanks for the help!
Thanks for this awesome plugin.
Very easy to integrate, but powerful to customize!
Can not change my previous rating, so here's a new one: Real 5 Star.
It is not EBD that restricts freemail, but Contact Form 7.
In the meantime I found that if you use a real email address in the From field of C7 instead of [your-name] <[your-email]> it works fine.
Perfect, free and so useful plugin!
Thanks a lot!
Very useful plugin.
This was intuitive and worked seamlessly with Contact form 7 and Download Monitor
I was up and running with email required downloadable forms in minutes.
Thanks for the great software!
I took over a site using the old version of Download Monitor, and was nervous about updating it, since this plugin uses both that and Contact Form 7. In practice, the upgrade was trivially easy, and this plugin plays nicely with both the old and new version. Just carried on where it left off in the logs, quoting the new ID. Phew!
And yes, it was quick to set up and just works. I like that in a plugin.
This plugin did exactly what I needed done. When I had a question, they answered almost immediately.
