Adds an expiry date and time to posts, pages, or custom post types after which the post becomes expired.
Doesn't work with the latest version of WordPress and the lack of activity in the support forum makes me think this has been abandoned. Post Expirator works great.
A real shame this one as the plug-in was easy to install and was obviously storing the expiry data. Unfortunately my posts simply didn't expire and when I tried to get support there was no reply. It could have been a problem running cron on my setup - I guess I'll never know. Switching to Post Expirator gave me no problems though.
Been using the plugin for some time, however it lacked expire by time. It has been re-written/udpated to expire based on time. While the functionality is welcome, the large influx of bugs. First new version, broke my ability to publish anything, then after i uninstalled/reinstalled plugin, all of my posts/pages had been unpublished and wouldn't republish. After manually making changes to each page/post, was finally able to get them to republish. While functionality of a post set to expire on Oct 31, expired it at the END, the new plugin expired it at default of 00:00 on the day of the expiration (effectively changing the expiration up a date). In the meantime, there have been updates what seems like every day. Running several sites, it has made me start to look for another solution. I hope it will again be a good plugin, but for the stuff it's broken, i'm going ot have to give it a 1
