We have a site that needs to have 100s of articles scheduled and these articles can sometimes be scheduled out months ahead of time. Our editor kept the editorial calendar herself on paper but things like a change in publishing frequency or covering a trending topic would be a bear to rearrange the calendar on the site.
Now with this plugin, editorial calendar changes are super easy. Our editor would kiss the developers if she ever met the developers. ;)
In addition to posts, my theme support other types of posts (mini-posts) like videos, quotes, books, etc. These don't appear on the calendar, so it's not something I can use.
Super idea. I'd love it when it expands beyond simple posts to EVERYTHING scheduled.
Beautifully implemented solution for getting a quick glance at your posts schedule. Drag and Drop interface is gravy. Must have.
Just starting using this - but very very well done.
After jumping through hoops trying the slick but expensive 'premium' schedule plugins with similar (but way more restrictive) function, I found this little gem. This is the simplest, most intuitive and seemingly most robust one of the lot.
You view a visual Calendar in Posts, hover on a day and add new post. If you have existing scheduled posts, they are visible - and you can even drag and drop them onto a new date. You can also see Draft posts and drag them into the calendar!
A small caveat might be that creating a new post in the calendar shows only a title and content field - and has no category option. I think it uses the default WP one (i.e.: Uncategorised, or whatever you've renamed it to). However, because you can either quick edit or full edit directly from the calendar once you've created the new post, you have the usual WP post window and set category, add media and post format etc.
Because the plugin has no settings (and needs none!) and needs no setting up, the above is an extremely moot point.
This plugin is a gentle bit of genius. Hats off to the developers/designers - this is singly the best new WP plugin I have tried in ages.
(Although I don't want to laud it too much in case they start charging a fee for it! ;-)
This is the most useful blog plugin I have ever used. I enhanced my bloging activity from the scattered few posts I made, to the well planned two posts per week. I can easily plan a lot of posts ahead. It's so much fun writing a bunch of posts and plan them to go live in the next month.
Weeks can be advanced by the up and down arrow keys, took me a while to figure out that one. Would be awesome to have to extra buttons that can be clicked with mouse pointer, to advance per week. This would save going back and forward from mouse to keyboard and back again, while rescheduling your posts.

This plugin is amazing. I don't know how I lived without it. I love how I can change a date just with a drag. It makes planning out the posts so much easier so I can make sure I don't post things too close together.
My only wish was that it had an option to color coordinate the posts. I have a bit of coding I use to color the posts on the main post page, so drafts are red, scheduled posts are green, and then posted posts are different colors based on if they are in a main category or not. I would love to be able to carry that over to this too. I'm a very visual person, and the [Draft] note is helpful, but a color would make looking at things at a glance a lot easier.
