This plugin has been perfect for our site and enables us to sell our products without too much technical ability.
Ecwid offers flexibility, a clear, easy-to-use interface, features you need, and supports entrepreneurs with a great free plan and reasonable price for the next plan up. The features are great for small business.
Just getting started with ECWID. Using it on WordPress and now also on Facebook. The vast amount of online help, forums and tutorials were major factor in my recommendation to our charitable foundation to redo our raffle store with ECWID instead of a clunky first generation store app that had no open framework. As it turns out, when you upgrade to a paid status, you also get access to front line support at expertise levels that are useful for pros and "not so" pros. During my first online chat, the support person and I were re-designing CSS styles within a minute or so and the knowledge sharing has been there each time when I need it. Most of the time, a search of the help using a couple of key words takes me right to info that explains how I can do the customizations I am planning. Great job!
Have a client who only has one product in four colours and four sizes... and after trying the most popular eCommerce plugins etc. out there Ecwid seems to be the one he is most happy with - and thus I'm happy :-)
I've been using Ecwid for several years now and love it. Easy to use, always being updated and perfect for my business. Thank you Ecwid!
I have been using Ecwid as a novice for a few years now. I had tried so many before that were either too complicated or not worth the time.
I love how it's a widget and can be added to any site with a click. Also, being able to modify the cart in the Ecwid control panel can be rather addicting. I have been using Ecwid since their early days and have been completely satisfied with their updates. The latest being the html email after purchases. Every new update brings new fun and needed items that I can't weight to implement. I now carry 1000's of items in my cart & Ecwid handles the inventory nicely.
Keep up the good work Ecwid.
I've tried several different shopping cart platforms over the last couple of years, and Ecwid is hands down the best. It's simple and intuitive to use, and has a ton of features for the low cost (I did the Venture plan). I love that I can add as many files and as many photos to a product as I want. What I love most though, is that it just plain does its job, and delivers my digital products to my customers without hassle. The last cart I used had some nice features, but there were constant technical issues, and it seemed like I was spending half my day replying to customer emails, and re-sending digital downloads. As soon as I finally decided to give Ecwid a try, it was like my life became instantly easier. WELL worth the cost to have a solid, dependable, easy to use platform.
I can not stress enough how easy to manage and logical to setup this toolset is Ecwid is a WIN all the way.
Been using Ecwid for a couple of years now. I'm impressed with how easy it is to get set up and start selling. I also love that I can have the store linked from multiple places (website, FB, etc.)
My only complaint is that there is no ability for customers to rate and review items in the store. They can only share to FB and review it on their own pages. So many consumers buy based on other customers' feedback.
It's extremely good because you can integrate it on many sites as well as many social media sites. I have my Ecwid store app on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Sites, Wix and of course on WordPress. It can be integrated on any site. Just go to their help portal page and click on add Ecwid to your site tab and see all of the sites that you can integrate it with, as well as some other sites not mentioned. Plus it looks good on mobile devices also.
