EasyRecipe makes it easy to enter, format and print recipes, as well as automagically doing the geeky stuff needed for Google's Recipe View.
This plugin does everything it says, is super easy to use, and really makes adding a recipe to a blog post super EASY!
Most bad reviews are from people complaining that functionality limited compared to the pro version... these are invalid by nature - the review has nothing to do with the actual plugin. This plugin is GREAT, and the paid version is even better. THANKS for providing such an awesome plugin for free!!
I have set up the plugin to my blog, everything was okey when i try to understand the plugin and how it's work.
But i surprised that this plugin is from Middle ages. wow, you cannot use this plugin, they don`t let you use by yourself, but with their condition, they WANT YOU to buy the plugin.
You can not add picture :D because you have to buy the full version,
Please don not install this plugin
I love this plugin! And the support is excellent. Thanks John for helping me find the solution to my 'Chrome' problem and for not giving up until it was solved even when we found out the issue was not with Easy Recipe!
Keep up the good work!
You can't even upload photos to your recipes without upgrading to paid version. Muppets!!!
This was the only free version of a recipe plug-in I found that allowed me to style the recipe card in any colors and font types I wanted. And just as important, the ability to add hyperlinks (to link back to original source). The premium version may offer more features and make customization a bit easier, but it's nice to still have these options available in the free version which is rare. Thank you!
I have this plugin for months ago (premium version). The design is very poor and outdated. Not is responsive with versions of mobile devices.
I found this plugin to be easy to configure and use. It produces a crisp, clean recipe format. I started with the free version and upgraded to the premium plugin.
I purchased the Easy Recipe Plus because I want all available options within the plugin. After using for several weeks I had a conflict with another plugin. John has worked tirelessly to help me resolve this. He even helped me with some code I didn't understand. I would give this and the support 6 stars!
Purchased, tried formatting a few recipes but couldn't get it working the way I wanted. John refunded my payment within 2 hours of me requesting a refund.
The plugin is Ok, and the support seems good - it just didn't work for me.
I’ve download and installed the Plus. I had Ziplist before and learned to convert those pretty easily.
Everything seems to be working fine - recipes are displaying and I even made some design changes. However, I cannot click on the “chef icon” in edit mode. Matter of fact, there’s no icon. Next to the “close tags” button, to the right is a “EasyRecipe” button (not an icon), just said EasyRecipe.
When I had Ziplist, the toolbars are different in both Visual tab and Text tab (which is normal). With EasyRecipe, the toolbars don’t change. In the Text tab (and when I click on the “EasyRecipe"button), it of course said “Switch to the Visual Editor to add or edit an EasyRecipe”. But when I click on the Visual tab, the page/editor is completely blank.
I dont know what’s going on. I opened a ticket with them so hopefully John would be able to help to resolve this. However, a confirmation of some sort would be nice, knowing that it's delivered to the right person to take a look.
