I does the job that I need. Thanks.
All I can say is "thank goodness for this plugin". It has never failed me yet!
I occasionally see that some people have had challenges in using this plugin. While I have probably used it on more than 200 websites, running approximately 20 to 100+ plugins sometimes on each site, and many various themes including Studio Press, iThemes, Elegant Themes, WordPress Free Themes, ThemeForest Themes, etc., I (at least for my use) need to let people know that it's absolutely never failed me and never caused a problem.
If there was a problem with a plugin update, I evidently find that something's up with the plugin that I'm trying to upgrade and 'not' this Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrade plugin.
While I can't say that no one else will ever have a problem, I just wanted to share my experience with anyone who wants to be able to easily update plugins and themes (when you want or need to upload a newer version through the WordPress dashboard).
As a word of precaution - and as a reminder, before you perform any update or change to your website, just be sure you have a solid and recent backup. This will help to protect you against any possible hiccups that can occur for any number of different reasons.

I tried to update the plugin JS composer
The upload fail and the old plugin has been erased.
I only discovered this plugin a few months ago, but since then I have regularly used this myself and recommended it to customers & clients. If you're looking for a simple way to update a plugin or theme from the WordPress dashboard using a zip file, this is the absolute best way to do it.
Was a little excited when I saw this plugin but excitement then lead to disappointment :(
Followed all the instructions and after attempting to download. All I got was a little message on a "wordpress failure Notice" page saying....
"Are you sure you want to do this?
Please try again"
Try it again and the same thing happens?
Looks like it works for some people but not other. Guess I'll just do it the old fashion way :)
Worked flawlessly, and it's a much simpler process than doing it manually.
Updating my WordPress site was a hell, I have to deactivate and delete sometime before upgrading. Now I have a peace of mind. Thanks to the developer.
I have been missing this for so long.
Installing Theme from uploaded file: (my theme)Theme.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /home/cayce12/public_html/wp-content/themes/WCM010013/
Theme install failed.
worked great for me on first try
