Still getting errors with IE
By , for WP 3.6

Despite following all the suggestions and having all settings correct, forms fail when using IE. Error=0 message. Work fine in Chrome and Firefox.

"Easy" is false advertising
By ,

Not intuitive or easy, plus it doesn't look good right out of the box.

form works, templates are a scam, so don't bother
By ,

The form is "ok" pretty basic. There are links in the form to download templates...I followed the links and went to the website and "custom styled" a form...it's all a scam. You can't download it unless you pay $50 to sign up...registration is not free. You can still style the form if you know some CSS...but there are better plugins for free...I can't stand greedy sneaky people. Just put it out there in front...don't try to get people in the back door and screw them in the ...

Plugin Update caused major crash
By , for WP 3.5.1

Just updated this plugin, which caused a mysql error that brought my entire site down. I am now scrambling to bring the company website back up during peak hours. I would not recommend this plugin for anyone

More headaches...
By , for WP 3.5.1

Causes more headaches than worth the time...

Setting up the forms is a time-sink in and of itself. Add to that, the submit button wouldn't show. I read the FAQ and it says to select the "Fix JS Issue" option in setting. When I did that, my navigation bar disappeared and I am still trying to figure out why.

Look elsewhere people.

It looks easy until...

it crashes your site!

Waste of time

I would look else where

The dreaded "no submit" button
By , for WP 3.5.1

I presume it is a theme incompatibility and can't experiment to the "cure" on a client's site. Pretty interface, but probably not the form you want to stuff in your mature site and then go experimenting with a cure.

Dashboard buttons & links do nothing
By , for WP 3.4.2

This looked promising, but after successfully installing, the plugin dashboard is completely unresponsive in Chrome and Firefox at least. I can't create any forms because the buttons and links don't do anything.

Not the least bit easy; customizaton requires advanced knowledge
By , for WP 3.4.2

To see how NOT easy this is, go to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-contact-forms/faq/ and look at items four and five. #2 of four is "Field list - this is a container, which is similar to the field set except it does not show a frame around the field groups and has an extra option allowing selecting the list label style: h1, h2, etc."

A search at w3schools for "field list" turns up nothing, nor "fieldlist".

I've been searching google, wp.org, and ECF support for clues (for several hours) about how to change label size and bg color of my form, but to no avail. There is nothing easy about this.

At http://wordpress.org/support/topic/easy-contact-forms-looks-great-but-doesnt-work?replies=13 I found "Go into the master css file, which is located in
wp-content> plugins>Easy-contact-forms>forms>styles>formscompressed>css>st

"Open that CSS and add font size and colour to the 3 label tags, as I did here..." which, at first, seemed it may help but where the heck is the wp-content? I think that's on my host, right, and not in ECF files?

How can a form maker be EAsY if you must follow the path, wp-content> plugins>Easy-contact-forms>forms>styles>formscompressed>css>st?

Or maybe I'm a dork and need to be un-ignorated.

I'm going to try something else. Something simpler. Something with support...If I can find a form maker like that. Perhaps I ask too much by wanting to be able to simply control label size and background color. I don't know.

Brilliant ideas welcome and appreciated!

peace & love
