A simple and easy way to use Backstretch jQuery plugin in basic, slideshow and block level mode.
Love it, works as described. I only wish I could run two instances of the plugin in two locations.
I have seen some negative comments regarding this plugin and thought I would add my own thoughts.
Total and complete life saver! One of my favourite background plugins has recently been depreciated and I needed a (preferably free!) alternative that I could adjust the opacity value.
This is perfect and I have tested up to and including WP v4.1.1 on a Genesis framework across all major browsers inclusive of mobile browsers.
I find an image of 1500px wide x 750px high works really well for the sites I have built.
This is a bare-bones plugin but some instruction and timely support might have made the experience better. Disappointed.
Does not work with latest firefox version. Image will try to resize to window, but isn't able to do so, and thus goes in an endless loop.. No updates from author.
Saved my ass since Im a noob! In the future I´d which for the possibility to set how the image is shown in size and noscroll. There´s probably some code to fix this but I dont know that much code, but one day!
Thanks for a great plugin!!
...but is it possible to show a different (set of) picture(s) only at single sides/posts?
If you need a quick and easy backstretch solution, this is it.
This plugin does one thing and does it well.
Very excited to find this plugin. Works like a charm so far!
If you're looking to easily add Backstretch to a theme that doesn't natively support it, this is the best option I've found so far. Good job guys! :)
