Easy Plugin for AdSense manages all aspects of AdSense: insert ads into posts and sidebar, and add a Google Search box. Easiest and most complete AdSe
Within moments of installing this plugin, I was alerted to a spammy, hacked post miraculously appearing on my site. I'm not sure how this happened, but I deleted the plugin right away. Be warned, and be careful.
I suppressed everything and cannot get rid of a box on the main page. Deleting plug-in as i write this.
I noticed a big decrease in adsense earnings after I had used this plugin for a while, at first there were no problems using it.
Gradually my earnings dropped by half even though my traffic remained the same and I really had no explanation to why this was happening.
I decided I had no option but to remove this plugin to investigate.
Once I removed the plugin I replicated the exact same ads in the exact same positions, and my earnings that day boosted to how they once used to be, and the same has followed for the next few days.
Was this just a coincidence or not, I am not sure, but I find it very strange and I now have my doubts about this plugin which I will not be using again.
MY SITE WAS JUST HACKED BECAUSE OF VULNERABILITY IN THIS PLUGIN.
5 OF MY SITES ON MY SERVER WERE HACKED.
I ADVISE YOU TO AVOID THIS PLUGIN.
I bought the Pro version of this plugin after trying the lite version and liking it.
However, after installing the Pro version, I notice a little section from the author asking me if I want to donate whatever percentage of adsense space I want to support him. Excuse me but I thought I just bought this Pro version partly to support him.
But that's not really what's bothering me. What's bothering me is if the author can implement whatever percentage of adsense space into his cause, How do I know that some percentage of adsense space not is already being placed into his cause?
I'm not saying the author is doing that. I'm just saying that I don't know.
In the end, I uninstalled it. I just couldn't fully trust someone that I don't know.
Also, since I realized ALL adsense plugins "can steal" adsense space, I just decided to do it the old fashion way and place the codes directly into my templates.
This plugin is fraud. I am not sure why it is allowed on wordpress.org but not only there are a lot better plugins outhere but this one actually steals from your adsense revenue and breaks ur website.
This free version is buggy and doesn't show the ads on the website. In the settings it says that bugs are fixed in the pro version, so then what's the point of having the free version? Lame sauce. I'll just take the extra 5 minutes to code it into my template. Thanks for wasting 10 minutes of my time.
Last night I noticed that some ads were running on my website which were never done by us. Its a simple matter of fraud, we have done screen captures and will do necessary actions. Be careful when you add this plugin.
Although the plugin is ok. The setting page is ridiculously cluttered with all manner of advertising.
For a paid plugin, this is the first time I feel truly ripped off by the amount of advertising and lack of functionality and support.
I have purchased the Pro version yesterday. Today there is an update - gone to download it and find out that all the following updates (except the first) will be charged.
Moreover, the Setting page is stuffed with advertise and publicity.
All this is absolutely unacceptable for a paid product.
Mr. Thulasidas should spend some time reconsider what is correctness.
