Shoot I wish it actually worked and removed nofollow on my own comments but it doesn't lol. Oh well. I'll keep hunting.
*** The authors of this plugin responded to my problem and rolled out an update to fix the issue. It does exactly what I need it to do now and I really appreciate their help. Thank you! ***
I wish this plugin worked properly because it would solve an exact issue that I've been trying to fix. However, upon activation it turns all comment author names into links that point to the page the comment is has been left on. This happens when the comment author did not include a website to associate with his/her name, but does not change the links if a comment author did include one.
I posted the issue in the support forum, but it has been over a week and there has been no response. Due to this, I'm forced to give it a one-star rating.
I plan to keep it deactivated in my plugins file in hopes that they update it thereby fixing the problem. But, it appears that the developers may have abandoned this project.
This plugin makes it easy to include nofollow links in posts, something that should be a functionality of WordPress, but isn't.
The plugin does exactly what it states: You can change nofollow links in some comments to dofollow either case by case or through a white list of commenters.
The feature I like most is the possibility to mark links in posts as nofollow, either through the popup window when inserting a link or through a shortcode.
Great work. Thanks!
