Excellent plugin, needs easier management of documents. Difficult to handle it via media manager, even more difficult AFTER adding it to a page/post. Not too hard to add, but a pain to edit with further changes. But compared to other plugins, this one definitely blows the others out of the water. Does it's job.
This plugin works only with ghostcript for me because I can't handle Imagick on my server.
The instructions to parametrize the plugin could be more precise for the greenhorns as I.
But it works very well, so : good job !
Document Gallery did the job I needed done, once I actually carefully read the docs and looked at a video. I was so used to the idea that I needed to INSERT the documents into the page that I did it without reading that it was NOT what was to be done. The documents you want to display are "attached" to the page, NOT inserted. Once I got that out of the way it was butter.
I put in one support request and got a prompt reply with a good workaround.
Excellent plugin for creating galleries of documents such as PDFs! However, I need functionality for dynamic galleries that grow as you upload files, and that seems not to be fully supported (yet). But if you don't need such functionality then I can wholeheartedly recommend this plugin, because it does almost everything else, and very well too! :)
Simple and works as advertised.
This is a really nice little plugin. It is simple once you've got it figured out. It took me a little while to figure out how to get the codes to work and how to style things, but once it clicked I was off to the races. Adding categories was genius...I use this functionality to put together different collections of documents all on the one page simply by assigning them different categories. Now I just need to get the sort order figured out!
