The Disqus comment system replaces your WordPress comment system with your comments hosted and powered by Disqus.
On Android devices this plugins will crash your browser tab when you'll try to rotate it.

It's the most bug full plugin I have ever seen.
When I installed this plugin, it told me I needed to update my database. I was a little concerned but decided to go with it anyways. After the install, all of my custom CSS went back to the original settings and I had to restore back to before I installed the plugin. Bummer. Thought it would have been good.
This is just a fighting comment system to egg on fights. All websites that use this comment system is just fights, fights, and more fights. I can't believe how much fighting there is on this comment system on websites. No backlinks from using this comment system, and that is why I went back to WordPress comments. If you have a good theme, your comments will look just as good or better than Disqus. I only have a Disqus account for giving my 2 cents to discussions.
Way too slow. Significantly slows down the site. I'm on a Dedicated Server, with a good CDN + Cloudflare and a speed-optimized WP theme, and when using Disqus, we go from 1.4s load time to 2.1s load time. It's horrendous!
very very slow, it should have a way or feature to allow comments to be display only when requested.
Disqus was great for a while. Now I am having problems and they seems impossible to resolve. Perusing their site looking for help, I see they call themselves the Admin "Gods", they have standard cookie cut responses for everything and ZERO contact numbers.
I feel like my account was hacked by goofy hipsters, playing "Admin God" with my blogs. EVERY single post in my account going back more than a year, was marked as spam. I know that didn't happen from the actual site, it wasn't there before, and I can't fix it. I can't post a question on the support page, because Disqus has blocked me. I have NEVER posted on Disqus before.
No longer functional with 4.1. I've had to go back to WordPress's commenting system because if I activate Disqus, all I see is "comments are closed." A major disappointment because I've used Disqus literally for years.
