Works perfefctly
By , for WP 4.1

It does what is supposed to do. Simple with options for custom html message and giving the ability for certain groups or even IPs to bypass it.

Perfect for my staging needs!

This was just was I was looking for!

On some sites I use a subdirectory as dev/testing site and even though it's unlikely somebody finds it this plugin makes it much safer to keep the test instance for longer time! I do check "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" but when creating a new test instance it's easy to forget that and with this plugin in place the searchbots will not fetch any duplicate content for my main site and make a mess of my SEO.

Thanks for this!!!

Great, simple plugin with IP exception

Works, simple to set up
By , for WP 3.9.1

I wanted a plugin that would let me display a custom one-page homepage on a site while I built the real site in-place in the client's hosting. I was able to copy and paste in the html code for my temp page (no header or body tags), turn it on, and it worked! I set it so that logged-in admins could see the real site, but you can also set it so certain IPs can see the real site, if you want to give the client viewing access without admin access.

Very useful! I love it, and will use it again. Thanks, Jimmy K.!

Simple and effective

This is a good, simple and effective tool for anyone wanting to block traffic from a WordPress install unless a user is from a specific location or has a login.
