I started using Digg Digg when I started my first blog in 2010. Great to use, and easy to install. One thing that I have noticed, and why I did not give this plugin 5 stars. My Pinterest button does not line up properly with the rest of the buttons.
For example, on the post below, it looks like the pin counts go up, but are raised too high in comparison to the other share buttons.
Also, not sure if this could be a future upgrade. Is there a way to show the same buttons above and below the content? If it is not possible coding wise, then not important. Just thought it would be great for bloggers who could use the extra shares.
Only small glitch, it showed on Galaxy S4 built-in browser - on Jetpack mobile theme (minieleven).
Overall, this is a solid plugin. I am currently using it on my site. It took me an hour or so to set this up, but after I did, it works great. One thing I want to note is that I was using a custom theme and the twitter button looked really weird. However, I recently switched to the twenty twelve theme and the sharing bar looks great.
This is a great plugin. Not seeing any errors in my server log from it and the floater is smooth.
Having an issue where it loads over featured image but that is one of those things a plugin author can't get right every single time for every user because it depends on the theme plus other plugins. When it loads in the correct position, it looks fantastic.
See what I mean here...
I would have done 5 stars but I feel this plugin could go further. There would be a premium edition and more support. There could be more options for fixed buttons and clearer instructions with easier functions for applying them to themes.
Everything works fine across all browsers for me ... Perhaps it bogs things down slightly, but not as much as some sharing programs out there. And I love that it doesn't open up new windows and tabs; it opens up simple pop-up boxes when you share -- and that's difficult to do, especially with Google's API.
The only thing that doesn't work is the e-mail button. This would be a mandatory plugin for all my domains if I could get that e-mail function to work ... like a nice, lightweight popup box appears.
Has anybody found a solution to this?
I have been using Digg Digg for about a year on my Blog; initially it saved a lot of time - which would have been spent developing my own solution.
Digg Digg makes it easy for people to share my content. It is also makes it easy for blog owners to add and remove social sharing buttons. Now that the Buffer Team has open sourced the code I hope that other developers like me will help make Digg Digg even better. (Worthy of 5 stars)
