I started using Digg Digg when I started my first blog in 2010. Great to use, and easy to install. One thing that I have noticed, and why I did not give this plugin 5 stars. My Pinterest button does not line up properly with the rest of the buttons.
For example, on the post below, it looks like the pin counts go up, but are raised too high in comparison to the other share buttons.
Also, not sure if this could be a future upgrade. Is there a way to show the same buttons above and below the content? If it is not possible coding wise, then not important. Just thought it would be great for bloggers who could use the extra shares.
Not that this is a bad plugin. It does what it advertises. However, I find the AddThis service much more dynamic, providing far more options and a greater reach into social networking.
In my opinion this is the best plugin for social buttons.
nice integrated floating bar feature, easy to set up!
Only small glitch, it showed on Galaxy S4 built-in browser - on Jetpack mobile theme (minieleven).
support the social bar on the home page and will change to 5 stars. Just retarted not to give us the option to have it there too.
I had to uninstall this one and use AA's alternative because this was causing some issues with page loading and cache performance. But i liked the looks of this one better. And this has far more options. Would have continued using this one if it did not lead to conflicts :(
After try many Floating Social plugin such as WP Socializer, Slick Social Share Buttons, Sociable,... I realize Digg Digg is the best plugin to satisfy my need - an simple beautiful floating social bar.
It's better if this plugin support shortcode and social stat features like some
Overall, this is a solid plugin. I am currently using it on my site. It took me an hour or so to set this up, but after I did, it works great. One thing I want to note is that I was using a custom theme and the twitter button looked really weird. However, I recently switched to the twenty twelve theme and the sharing bar looks great.
I have never been able to get the like button to work properly.
When clicked only a small portion of the window that you type a comment in shows up.
I emailed their support from the Buffer.com website and I received and email back stating they will not support Digg Digg because it does not make them any money (which I do understand).
This error however makes the Digg Digg bar completely unusable for Facebook, and a waste of time to install.
If you know of another plugin that does the same thing. Use that instead.
