Demo Data Creator is a WordPress and BuddyPress plugin that allows a WordPress developer to create demo users, blogs, posts, comments and blogroll lin
I only use this for theme development, NEVER in a production environment. It gives me a quick way to create dummy data to test my style sheets and custom post types against while the content developers work on their Word docs. I had not noticed the deletion problem, because the plugin is never installed on anything but my development environment.
ALL MY PAGES
ALL MY SETTINGS
ALL MY PLUGINS
ALL MY EXISTING USERS
ALL MY EXISTING ACTIVITIES
What is this? I can´t believe wordpress hasn´t banned the author forever!!
This is a bad joke!
After deleting the plugin... you find your website crashed... Poor Poor Poor... Very bad plugins...
everything is fine.
the only problem is for deleting. as it deletes everything. it must be a way to only remove the data created by this plugin. like it can make all posts by one specific user and then delete all of them
Using it to work with BuddyPress. Since BuddyPress version 1.9.2
LOVE this plugin - super helpful. Only complaint is that the images are linked to an external site, so if you are using this to generate content for testing purposes, the images won't be a true representation of your server being the source of all the data. I would much prefer having the images downloaded to the local server and linked so my testing will be more accurate.
simply generate dummy contents such as posts, pages, users and is very easy to work with
Works perfect with WP 3.5.1
Deletes all data, but author has already warned about it. Besides, this ought to be used just for pure testing.
One more thing; in a multisite, the plugin generates data on all sites when it is activated form any particular site (and not just from the primary site). A bit awkward, but then its just for testing anyway.
If functionality for deleting only the generated data + option for site specific or multiple sites in Multisite are introduced, its worth 5 stars!
The delete function deletes ALL your data, not just the dummy data created by the plugin.
There's absolutely no reason why the developer wouldn't be able to just delete the dummy data.
This renders the plugin pretty useless seeing as you can't remove the dummy data without having to manually do it or script it yourself.
