Easy to use, very versatile
By , for WP 4.1.2

Love the responsive functionality, very versatile, easy to integrate (with shortcodes or php snippets), plus the various things it can be used for. Have utilised in numerous WordPress website builds.

Only didn't give 5 stars as we couldn't get the custom template functionality working as per instructions on the main website. Perhaps we have done something wrong, but it just wouldn't work. Would love to get this figured out if possible for future usage. Or is it only available on a premium version of the plugin?

Good but i found bug
By , for WP 4.0.1

In my environment happened the following error: Slider not found ... When inspecting the code I saw that on line 60 of the / src / CycloneSlider / Data is being received the id instead of slug

$slider = $this->plugin['data']->get_slider_by_slug =($slider_slug);

//$slider_slug receiving ID

Then added the following check before:

if (is_numeric ($slider_slug))
{
    $post = get_post ($slider_slug);
    $slider_slug = $post->post_name;
}
Very nice and easy slider
By , for WP 3.8.1

This is the best WordPress slider I every seen.

It has a easy interface and is customizable with themes so I can make it fit in every WordPress site.

One problem: When using custom HTML in a slide, some styles from the style attribute are removed.
For example: <div style="background-image:url('image.png');"></div> becomes <div></div> when displayed in the slider.
I will rate this 5 stars when this is fixed.

Impressive UI
By , for WP 3.7.1

I was looking for a slider that should be as easy as the WordPress gallery to edit and as easy of the WordPress Menus.

This plugin fit's the bill in every regard so far.

Only two things I would change would be:

One Have the ability the change the name of the slides from the generic Slide #1 to the title of the image.

So if I had a slide of a bunch of types of bread.

Instead of:

•Slide 1
•Slide 2
•Slide 3

It would say

•Whole Wheat
•Irish Soda
•Sourdough

Two Maybe allowing developers to create there own themes that wouldn't be over written in a plugin update?

Great
By , for WP 3.5

Great plugin! Simple, easy and professional at the same time!

loads all styles for all templates
By , for WP 3.5.1

This plugin is fairly easy to use and seems to work well with the included templates. But, instead of using the chosen template to decide which css should be loaded, the plugin loads all of them concatenated into a single file with template-assets.php. The files are pretty small, but that's a whole lot of extra stuff that doesn't need to be loaded.

Very good

It works very good also with WP 3.5
The only thing I'm missing is the possibility to start the slideshow manually.
Thanks a lot.
