Create your own widgetized areas and choose on which pages they show up - "Easy to use. Even with complex themes. Made my work much easier."
Love it. Nothing else to add :)
An alle Dummies wie mich .... wenn ich es hinkriege, dann Ihr garantiert. Total einfach Dummi proofed :)
Guys, excellent work with the plugin.
Just a question though, it's not integrated with woocommerce yet right? It's only limited to pages and posts category and not product category? Or maybe I missed something?
I'm working on a pretty complicated theme, where client wants to have a highly customizable home page. I implemented it as a sidebar with the element are widgets. However, some of the widgets requires its own sidebar. With this plugin I'm able to allow user to define home page widgets and the sidebar attached to it on the fly, yet the only functions I've to use is
Intuitive - I like it that there's no new settings page for this. It just adds on to the Widgets area. It's very easy to use and you don't need to read any documentation.
Fast - I'm including Custom Sidebars as a recommendation to my theme. Speed is important to me. This plugin doesn't add any noticeable loading time, memory usage nor queries.
I also want to give advise to the other reviewers out there giving this a bad rating. The plugin works great with no problems. If it doesn't work with your setup, then perhaps the theme you are using isn't built following proper standards.
It's worth having this plugin, gives your sidebar total customization.
So simple a Caveman could do it. Ugh!
Custom Sidebars will go on my "essential plugins" list from now on. I am pleased by how easy it was to figure out and by how many options are available in the free version. I was able to install it and put it to use within a couple of minutes on my obscure WP theme. Well done!
No need to hire a dev for creating a theme sidebar
I love your plugin - it does everything perfectly - which is why when I updated it to the new version today I was upset that it made my blog sidebar my default sidebar on all of my pages. I brought my website back to yesterday's backup, and I am not able to update your plugin until this is fixed. I noticed that you mentioned that this was a fix for the last update, yet the other update worked perfectly for me.
So I just wanted to say Thank you for the great Plugin - and I hope you are able to fix it for me so I can update it again.
