This plug-in is on my "Plug-in to install" check list for any new WordPress installation. It's helpful in so many different cases and really simple to use. Thanks to Johan for this plug-in.
I've used a few plugins with similar functionality, but I like this one the best because of the clean output. It doesn't add in any extra wrappers, which makes it easier to format. I appreciate being able to use the widget or the shortcode, too.
I use it on all my WP sites to give Editors and other Admins straightforward editing & control of content blocks. Thanks.
Light plugin with very useful functionality. As others have said, it makes much easier for editors to take control of widget contents (with the added advantage over text widgets of being reusable). And this in turn frees time for the developer :-)
Ni un fallo. Sencillamente perfecto
This is one of those plugins that, as a developer, I always have on stand-by for difficult new websites! It really comes in handy when needing to put formatted content in widget areas, especially if clients are going to be updating it in the future.
Thanks for creating and maintaining this plugin! I've been using it probably for 3 years now and still go back to it quite frequently.
This plugin is a must-have for all WordPress users!
Hello Johan, thank you very much for developing that helpful plugin. I use it to add "Call to action" blocks on a commercial website. Editing the content with the WYSIWYG-editor is exactly what I have looked for.
It is a plugin with many possibilities. Very useful
Adding a Content Block post type into the mix is an essential tool for a WordPress type. One of the things I miss about using Drupal prior to WordPress is the ease of reuse built into that platform. Savvii Custom Post Widget fills the gap for WordPress by providing a robust content container that makes resuse easy: Content as Widget, Content as Page/Post component, workaround to plug content into some theme form.
The latest addition of specifying a Content Block slug in shortcode is a real time-saver!
Developer Johan van der Wijk works the forum and collaborates with users. Thanks!
