Works exceptionally well for more complex feedback forms. A little bit frustrating that I lost my entire form the first time around because I hadn't disabled another contact form plugin I was trying out. Could use some work in the "not conflicting with other plugins" department but an otherwise great tool!
After the upgrade I could see a lot of people struggling to get it to work - so I waited for an upgrade to solve the problem. When nothing happened there I read the instructions!! and got it to work again... but I could not save my changes!
I posted the problem on the website and very quickly got a reply - there is most likely a conflict with the other plugins or theme. So I disabled them and was able to make the changes and enable them again.
So thanks Taylor. Great plugin and great service.
Can't save forms. clean installation.
Looks good, i wish it worked!
This "Custom Contact Form" was built into several of my website - till recently - when it all change to merely the short-code left on my page. The form is not scalable; not responsive and can only do full screen with in the editor. On the view of a page with sidebar, the form disappear over the edges. Very little to no options for customization: just one size that doesn't even fits all.
I've been trying out various form plugins and this one looked good. Wonderfully simple and elegant interface. Couldn't be happier until I tried to save the form to insert it into a page. Doesn't work. Nothing, Nada, not there, etc. Am I missing something?
We have used an older version for a while now and have just recently updated to the latest one. The new version now uses reCAPTCHA for its captcha section which is a nice touch, only...it isn't working in IE, the browser that most companies are still forced to use.
Sure, for most of us that live in Chrome or Firefox, this plug-in works great. But the only way to get the anti-spam portion of the plug-in to work in IE (the most important feature for the majority of businesses when dealing with forms) is to hope they're at least on IE 11 where you *might* get it to pop up by hitting refresh. However, most companies are stuck using IE 8 (the last one that works in XP, I believe) where the reCAPTCHA doesn't even show up at all.
So, if you're just using it on a personal site, the plug-in is great to use - just let your visitors know to hit refresh if they're using IE and before they've filled out any information. But if you're looking to use this on a company web site or any type of business site, you'll want to look elsewhere.
On a side note, this issue was brought up on their support tab over 3 weeks ago (at the time of this writing) and has yet to be corrected by the author of the plug-in.
If there were bugs, they must have been worked out. I love the visual interface and I had absolutely no problems with it at all. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box!
I find it much more user friendly and enjoyable to use than Contact Form 7, and I'm never going back.
Taylor, the genius developer, is always blazing trails, and this plugin is definitely the wave of the future. Im sure the rest of the contact form developers will be trying to learn from this and will try and eventually implement similar functionality in their plugins as well.
I love this plug in, it absolutely meets my needs and is a simple but highly effective way to create custom forms.
It uses an easy drag and drop interface and is clear and simple to use.
If I had a gripe it would be I can't get the fields side by side but hey thats down to my lack of css ability not to do with the plugin itself.
Cracking job, I dont need any other forms plugin this one is great
Unfortunately, I either can see the submitted forms (wrong/wrong date format?) nor can I change or even see any settings of already configured forms :-(
Great plugin, but you have to fix the issue with saving first. In the plugin directory, navigate to build/js/ and open the file form-manager.min.js. Replace all occurrences of /ccf/forms with ccf/forms. Save and reupload replacing the existing file and it will work just fine!
