Create and display custom sidebars according to the content being viewed.
This is one of those plugins you come across, and it really opens up and expands the possibilities of WordPress. Plays well with all sorts of other plugins, allowing you to build complex relationships between posts, pages, Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, and sidebars.
More than once, I've found myself saying "how the heck could I even do this without this plugin?"
Stable, helpful... essential.
I've tried a few different sidebar managers before settling on this one. I've now used it for almost a year and it's been perfect!
Now, this is a brilliant plugin! Very flexible and with powerful configuration options. You can configure for (almost) any situation you want. Highly recommended!
I needed to display ads in sidebars depending on content, and I really tried dozens of ad plugins. None worked as advertized - either was requireing Einstein to configure (I am not an idiot, but I really gave up on some), or plain did not allow for features I wanted. But this plugin did the trick! It does exactly waht I need, and does so reliably!
Thank you for a wonderful plugin! Loads of good karma flow in your direction :)
Congratulations to the developper for this plugin ! In its free version it is more flexible than Premium Custom sidebar.
It takes a while to fully understand the logic of Groups, but it is worth it : merging sidebars is just awesome !
This sytem opens new possibilities, and enables me to be very creative with personnalized sidebars display.
Don't throw away your money on other costly sidebar alternatives. This sidebars plugin really works. Easy to configure and surprisingly accurate! Who wants unrelated material showing up in their sidebars? Having sidebars that are dynamic is the way to go, and this plugin will make it happen on the fly. This is a "one-of-a-kind" plugin. The author is responsive and responsible for assisting. I would highly recommend this plugin and supporting this author.
Works as intended, simple and easy setup without reading lots of documentation.
Now I can have different sidebars with different categories archive page.
Works with Virtue theme free, ver.2.3.7
DUDE! You are awesome!!!!!! That plugin works perfect as I want. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Works perfectly, solves my problem! I am building a course using Namaste! LMS and wanted to display a list of resources in the sidebar that are specific to the course content on that page. With this plugin, I can create a bunch of custom menus in the widget area, and assign each one to a sidebar that appears only on that specific page. Yeehah!
I actually develop themes so that they are relying on Content Aware Sidebars!
