Flexible and versatile functionality
By , for WP 4.3.1

This is a great plugin with flexible and versatile functionality. Highly recommended.

The plugin I have dreamed of to handle my sidebars
By ,

I have tried other 6 plugins to manage widgets/ sidebars on a per context basis and the features of this one set it apart from the others.

It is powerful and at the same time it simplifies the management of complex setups.

It is a clever concept beautifully implemented.

Thanks Joachim!

Works like a charm!

Fantastic plugin. I've been using it ever since I put my new site up and it is great to be able to have a special sidebar on certain pages or posts.

Works like a charm!

Good plugin

The story with the "groups" is not really self-explanatory, but all in all this is a good, v.useful plugin!

Great Plugin

Does what it says it will do, and do it well.

Frustrating as hell
By , for WP 4.2.2

The lack of instructions make it really frustrating to use. I have no idea how to make this plugin work which sucks because it looks like a great tool if only there were instructions on how to use it.

I can provide access to registered users but the permissions don't flow upwards to editors or admins which means I can't even see the posts under the category that I've restricted (as I'm an admin). I tried following what I've found under support and it doesn't work. Plus there is a radio box under every users that is on which says no access level. I don't know (lack of instructions) if this is because these members were all pre existing or if there is something I need to do to get it to see them for the roles they possess.

I'll be searching for other restricted access plugins I guess but will keep this one deactivated in the event that the author ever realizes how vital adding instructions are rather than just saying he's too busy adding features. There are only some 400 installs at the time of my review, if he wrote instructions it would easily be one of if not the top access control plugins available but for now it's just frustrating as hell.

Best custom sidebars plugin

I tried them all, this is the best plugin if you need custom sidebars. Thank you!

Does what it says on the tin
By , for WP 4.2.2

Thanks for this brilliant plugin. Unlike other similar plugins, it does not interfere with other sidebar related plugins. I was considering buying another developers option but it wouldn't play nice with my other sidebar plugin. Now I've found this, I can really get stuck in and make my dev the best it can be. Thanks so much"

Plays well with others
By , for WP 4.2.2

This is one of those plugins you come across, and it really opens up and expands the possibilities of WordPress. Plays well with all sorts of other plugins, allowing you to build complex relationships between posts, pages, Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, and sidebars.

More than once, I've found myself saying "how the heck could I even do this without this plugin?"

Stable, helpful... essential.
