Works perfectly, solves my problem! I am building a course using Namaste! LMS and wanted to display a list of resources in the sidebar that are specific to the course content on that page. With this plugin, I can create a bunch of custom menus in the widget area, and assign each one to a sidebar that appears only on that specific page. Yeehah!

Great plugin

It's like Joachim Jensen was reading my mind.

1. The ability to easily create custom widget areas

2. The ability to put exactly what I wanted into these areas - in this case, groups of pages based on their template types (which I also customized).

Thanks J.J. !!

Practically perfect in every conceivable way...

This plugin is utterly fantastic - not only does it allow me to swap out sidebars in various locations, but my theme also uses sidebars to define footer content, etc., so I can customise my footers with this plugin as well! Super awesome!

Only minor tweak I'd request so far is change the new admin menu (and title of resulting screen) from "Sidebars" to "Sidebar Rules" or something like that, to clearly differentiate it from Sidebar item under Appearance menu. When I first went in to the new Sidebars menu the word "Sidebars" made me think it was where I defined new sidebars, not the rules that govern which sidebars (defined under Appearance > Sidebars) should be displayed under certain conditions.

thanks

I really enjoy your plugin. It enhances our installations with powerful functionalities and can be used even by our non-programmers.
