Lightweight, simple, and adds to useability. If it had a settings page it would rate 5 stars, but then again it would add more overhead to the admin, so I'm happy with the plugin as it is.
Especially with some custom post classes!
Very nice work. Thanks!
Instructions should be updated.
Within WordPress go to Appearance > Editor. at the top right side of the page, select "Color My Posts" from the select plugin to edit drop down. Select color-my-posts/color-my-posts.php
I was actually looking for a way to color the category names listed on the post for the user to see. For example, I have 3 business sites Yellow, blue and red. When I make a post, I would like to show down at the bottom of the post which business that post applies to.
Today we are going on trip
Categories: Red, Blue
Any help finding something like this would be appreciated.
It works great but there are a few details you might need to check :
- no setting at all while it's all about colors (not hard coding)
- background-color is OK but color is not? What if you want to set blue as background-color?
the plugin has not settings page!
WP 3.4.2 network installation, active at one blog
Colours have to be changed manually in Extensions>Editor but it totally works. To fully enjoy this plugin remember to use the !important CSS trick so one colour parameter (say "Pending status") can take precedence on another (say "Other authors").
This is a great plugin. In my humble opinion, it should be included as part of WordPress.
