Converts https-links to http-link using IE
By , for WP 4.5

I've used Cloudflare several months, and it did speed up my page quite a bit. But I had to deactivate this plugin. The reason is that Cloudflare converts all my https-links to http-links. The problem occurs in IE, but not in Chrome, Opera or Firefox.

For several months I've tried to have the Cloudflare support team help to fix this, but their support is not very good. I've experienced that almost every time their returning to me there is a new person, that I have to explain the problem again. And where the earlier person trying to figure out what is the reason for this, the new person does'nt seem to take this into consideration and really doesn't care, it seems. I've given up to try having this fixed.

The suggestion from Cloudflare support team in the beginning was to use some of their page rules. This did not in any way solve this issue. This very same issue has also been addressed in 2015 as well:

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cloudflare-plugin-breaks-paypal-add-to-cart-buttons-in-ie-11?replies=5

I've addressed this to Cloudflare support on this thread as well:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/https-redirects-to-paypal-in-ie-changes-to-http?replies=2

with no support at all.

But Cloudflare was not able to solve the problem back then either. I've contacted Chad Warner and he said he did'nt even get a respond on his support issue.

The conclusion is that Cloudflare has a problem for all using https-links as well as http-links on a page. Any linking to https pages such as paypal, returns a link to Paypals home page instead of the shopping cart.

Don't use it if you have any kind of shopping solution on your page.

Plugin surprisingly bad
By , for WP 4.4.2

I love Cloudflare. I reccomend it to anyone with a self hosted website. Their blog and support articles reccomend using this article with WordPress sites, so natually I installed it. But I noticed it creates a problem with urls. Some of the links on my site don't use https. It took me a long time to track down the issue, but as it turns out all I had to do was disable this plugin. Strangely enough it was making my sites have http:// links when using https:// . Not sure why, but since there are other ways to restore visitor IPs, I'm looking into other options at this point.

Causing more problems than it's fixing

This plugin seems like a good idea but it seems to be causing problems on my sites. I ended up having to disable it completely. Sorry to say, it didn't work out for me.

DON*T TOUCH THIS!
By , for WP 4.4.2

They won't let you leave - you have to contact support to cancel your account and they are unbelievable unhelpful!

Mauvais service et a complètement brisé mon site web
By ,

Very very bad customer service. Following the transfer of DNS, my site was not functional for 4 jours. My host could not help me because the problem was from cloudflare ... After several attempts to contact the cloudflare support (which is only by email) I tried to contact the sales department for a response ... They couldn't help me and I never heard back from them, not even after many days of waithing ... I finally changed my namesserver to redirect them to my host iPage and for $ 36, 1 time a year thy've improved the loading speed for my website ... So $ 36 VS $ 20 once / month (cloudflare) I am much more satisfied with iPage. Ipage offer a good service ...

Completely broke my site
By , for WP 4.3

Don't use this service, completely broke my site - wp-admin is unresponsive.

Not happy.

What does it do?
By , for WP 4.1.1

I have this installed but I have no idea what it does. I don't see the need for it even with it activated with W3 Total Cache extension my site is just as fast with it and without it.

STAY AWAY
By , for WP 4.1.1

Stay away from Cloudflare! Their support is non-existent. I signed up with them to stop DDoS and they did much more harm to my site than the hackers ever could! I was down for days. A total disaster and a waste of time.

Glitchy, no support

Lots of problems with this plugin, and I notice I'm not the only one not receiving any responses to support requests.
