Waste of resources
By , for WP 4.3.1

This plugin will flood your website with ajax requests every second making it unusable unless you own a powerful server. Screenshots here and here.

Tested in a VPS with only 1 user connected, imagine what would happen on an active website with a few users connected at the same time. I didn't have this problem with other chat plugins tested in the exact same environment.

It will eventually take your website down, eat all your hosting resources and it will cause problems with your hosting provider.

It's a self-inflicted DDoS.

muy caro el servicio
By , for WP 4.2.2

la verdad esta muy sencillo y pues el full muy caro es casi pagar otro hosting

Not a plugin for a website with many users
By , for WP 4.1

I had to remove this plugin after I received this from my host:

Hello there,
I am writing to inform you that your ChatLite plugin has been deactivated. The plugin has an action that hits admin-ajax incessantly, which caused the server load to spike. The high load contributed to slower performance on your site and on other sites on the server. To prevent any further performance issues or downtime, we went ahead and deactivated the plugin.
The lines of code that are causing this issue can be found here:
58: ‘action': ‘chatProcess’,
144: ‘action': ‘chatProcess’,
126: add_action( ‘wp_ajax_chatProcess’, array( &$this, ‘process’ ) );
127: add_action( ‘wp_ajax_nopriv_chatProcess’, array( &$this, ‘process’ ) );
(In chat.js and chat.php files on lines 58 and 144/ 126 and 127 respectively)
We suggest looking for a plugin that might meet the same needs but is better optimized by not hitting admin-ajax so intensely. If you have any other questions about this, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Not working
By , for WP 4.0.1

Apparently, it doesn't work with latest version of wordpress.
There's no way to send the message. Clicking on emoticons also does nothing.

Got throttled by the Host
By , for WP 3.8

After running this for just a few hours, I found that wordpress admin pages took forever to do anything. I contacted my host and was told that I was "restricted" logged into Cpanel sure enough big red warning.

This is resource intense chat... not worth getting booted from the server or to get permanent throttling.

They say it's super easy and light... pfft... NOT
