Very poor calculator
By ,

If you want to calculate 1+1 or 2*2 please by all means download this...

If you want something more sophisticated that works on a thing we call logic, stay clear of this plugin.

I spent hours trying to do what I thought was basic formulas with IF statements, this plugin cannot do it sorry.

having issues and cannot find syntax for Button in the free version
By ,

I've spend over 5 hours to realize the short coming of the free version. If I were able to create the calculation I needed then I would have considered upgrading. But just the math functionality alone is limited to simple math stuff. I need to figure wood cost and calculate the price for a customer but not possible here.
and not able to find any supporting documentation for all the form field. I do like that you can set hidden fields The idea is good but try separating the int from a float and the auto calc stops working. Was hoping this could be the solution I needed. Good job for what it does.

Should be strictly promoted as Premium Plugin without a "Free Version"
By , for WP 3.8

This plugin has all the functionality you'd ever want from a form builder and more.

However, form handling is not included in the "Free Version", which means you can't use the plugin unless you pay for it. This is totally fine if the plugin was promoted as "Premium Plugin", but offering a "Free Version" which cannot be used in any working environment whatsoever is just ... fishing.

Free Versions should do what the plugin is meant to do, while saving the extra functionality for users who pay more (that's the concept of Free vs Paid version).

Just add a submit button to the forms and let developers code the form handling (no one is asking you to with a free version).

Wondering how it's getting 4+ stars with the WordPress community (which usually encourages open source, or at least a working free version).

This is a calculator. It costs $50 for the form processing
By , for WP 3.6.1

This is a calculator that you can place on your website that will allow a visitor to enter information and have it display a total. That is all it will do.

DO NOT BE FOOLED.

The screenshots on wordpress.org show using this as a calculating contact form. This plugin will not do what the screenshots illustrate without buying the Pro version for $50.00 per website.

We were looking for a calculating contact form that allows the site visitor to enter a name and email address, perform a calculation and then send you a copy of the calculation and send a copy to the site visitor. We looked at the screenshots and thought this was the perfect solution and didn't see the fine print stating that the contact form piece of it costs $50.

We'd likely be happy to pay $50, but after the way the developer handles this aspect, we will exhaust every other possibility, including buying a plug in elsewhere before we will use this one.
