bxSlider for WordPress integrates the great responsive content slider "bxSlider jQuery plugin" in your very own WordPress site.
about a year ago I spent a full week searching the internet for a great slider to use in the sites I was building...
Once I found this plugin, started playing with it a bit, I LOVE it!
It can do so much and it's so simple!
Thank you for bringing this slider to wordpress!
Looked forever for a slider that could handle more than just images, but was simple enough / without bloat. Thank you!
Just what I needed to build into my template.
I have been looking for something like this for a while... I just wanted to be able to upload native images to a wordpress post and for the images to be displayed with a shortcode... this does just that - Brilliant!!
Did exactly what I wanted straight away. If you're looking for a gallery slider this is it.
Simple, yet powerfull, this versatil slide plugin is one of the best free solutions i ever found. :)
Great plugin. Only free wordpress plugin for image slider with thumbnails that really works and best of all it uses default wordpress gallery. Plugin author is fast in fixing problems. 5 stars from me.
Responsiveness/touch works great. Was looking for a slider that could be configured with sliding thumbnails for navigation, and this is it. Briefly had a compatibility issue with 3.9, is fixed now, works great. Thanks!
Thanks for this, it was exactly what i was looking for.
Unfortunately today I've updated my wordpress to 3.9 on a website I'm working on and the slider started having some problems with images not showing up or slides not stopping where they should.
Are you familiar with this? Do you think you could provide a fix for this in the near future or I will have to revert back to 3.8 in order to make this work?
bxslider 1.5.1 worked fine, but update 1.5.2 was non-functional. All images loaded in the slider showed up stacked on top of each other and obscured all the other content on the home page. don't do the 1.5.2 update if you actually like the slider function to work.
