Add albums, photo, audio/video encoding, privacy, sharing, front-end uploads & more. All this works on mobile/tablets devices.
It doesn't display photos in a clean way, and that's the least of it's issues. When I added pictures to a group, it just showed them on the activity page. When I go to the Media tab, it actually looks like the site is broken. The theme disappears and it shows weird site code in a small box.
Definitely not encouragement to invest $150.
While I respect, even if not embrace, RTmedia's decision to commercialize on BuddyPress media and re-name it, I've had mixed feelings towards the plugin ever since.
The basic free features give you about enough to get started,
but if you actually want to set your site apart from most others,
there's going to be a $149 pricetag behind it,
an EXUBERANT amount of money!
While I agree with why most of the PRO features aren't available
to free users, there are two features, whose lack of presence in the free version of this plugin is an outrage and a disservice to free users: Moderation controls, (which any responsible media plugin
should have in both free and paid versions,)and Album Privacy.
You have a ton of great features, RTmedia-PRO, and have
already promised that more, better features are on the way!
Why, then, can't basic free users at least have access
to these more basic features at some point?
Loved this plugin - until I discovered that users cannot edit photo titles or captions once uploaded. I noticed that this was pointed out some time ago on the developer's website, but was not a part of any recent update.
Not good job...
On news feed whatever you delete it will remove the photos and albums too, not just activity. Users who are not logged (and they might not be members of the community at all) have some options Edit/Delete (???) while looking the group albums. No navigations when you watch albums...
That's what I've could find in 10mins, didn't want to look this plugin any longer
