This plugin will check your posts, comments and other content for broken links and missing images, and notify you if any are found.
And it's simple to use. Can't complain.
Excellent, easy to use and great plug-in for newbies. It does what it says and makes correcting 404s simple to do.
Does a great job of finding those dead links which are a bad thing to search engines and users.
I do not leave it on all the time as it can use serve resources and slow your load time if I recall.
good features. easy to work with
Plugin works fine, but could you please add also checking of image sources inside links?
For example image1-310x310.png was deleted. But the plugin don't "think" here in any error (because image1.png is available):
<img src="/image1-310x310.png" />
My website got like 65k links and monitoring them with this plugin is the easiest task that I've ever done, I can't think of any other way to do it without this awesome plugin!
Thank you thank you thank you! With content development comes an ever-growing list of links, both internal and external. Thanks to your plugin, I'm able to keep track of them with ease!
Having tested more than a hundreds WordPress plugins, this is the first one I've found that does MORE than it advertises.
After using it for a while I just found it looking for the previously god links in Archive.org and successfully finding them !
All I had to do was click Yes - go ahead.
One major peeve for me is a website with stale links.
This plugin automates the process of testing and identifying those links saving your visitors grief and you the time required to track it all down.
An essential plugin.
Please look into the following:
When a broken link is re-scanned it should also check to see if that link still exists in the source document. When we changed a site URL recently there was still a whole lot of "broken" links which no longer existed in the source document.
Also, please add !important to the default text decoration as many themes are overriding the line-through.
