Big Company buys little company - removes features
By ,

This was a great plugin until iThemes bought it. You can no longer hide the login location. DON'T UPDATE THE PLUGIN ON YOUR SITES. The new updated takes away features that you've come to rely on and will break the login location on your sites.

These guys are the worst

Their payola scheme is in full force. Horrible support also!

Do NOT buy the Plugin Suite - Free version better
By , for WP 4.4.2

Since purchasing the plugin suite, I have found many of the plugins' features to be broken or useless. The Malware scan does not work and the support team are struggling to come up with any help. The Backup Buddy plugin will not work on my site and fails the backups consistently, and again, support can't seem to fix this either. Perhaps the back-ups only work on small sites but it isn't useful for businesses.

If you are a UK business or website owner than the "pro" support you get is also a waste of money as they do not operate in UK hours meaning it is a slow and painful process to communicate. They do not help this situation either as instead of providing a comprehensive email with support they send short emails that mean you have to email back and wait another 24 hours.

Overall, many of the features I brought in for aren't there or working. Not having support for UK based clients isn't helpful.

This plugin broke my website
By , for WP 4.4.2

This plugin has caused me so many problems and takes an eternity to configure. Once I finally had it configured, it had messed up my site. It adds a bunch of silly 'security' features such as blocking people who try to log in at night. Hardly any of the features are actually any use. I'm very disappointed.

Useless support
By , for WP 4.2.5

Purchased the full pack, installed it on a cleanly installed WordPress site, no other add-ins, didn't work.

Did a blow by blow help request detailing all the steps I took, got a canned response. (I do software testing as a job so know how to write an error report including all steps, commands, full error results etc).

Returned their message pointing out they were asking questions I had already covered off in my description and then re-gave my information.

Got another Bs response telling me to go to my provider (I am my own provider and run several hundred WP sites on dozens of servers that we manage).

No further help.

A waste of several hundred dollars.

I WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK
By , for WP 4.3.1

So, i decided to buy their bundle suite mainly for Ithemes Pro and BackBuddy hoping that they would work great in my WPMU but none of them work.
1. only some settings were saving in ithemes pro, some weren't so i said to myself its okay i don't really need these settings anyway, so few days later i upgrade to the latest version because of the xmlrpc attack and configured the xmlrpc settings and when i try to access my site, am getting Gateway not found error, so i delted the plugin and everything back to normal.

2. backupbuddy isn't working either in my multisite .

"so i lose my money and sad while they enjoying my money"

Oh by the way if you think you going get your money back, think twice before spending your hard earn money.

the free version better than the pro.

Just another security scam plug-in
By , for WP 4.3.1

Just another security scam plug-in just like Sucuri plug-in wp white security and so on, they are all working together to scam you.

Stop installing security plugins, the first thing you should do is contact your hosting provider, if you're having any problems accessing your sites.

The aim of these plug-ins is to charge you for doing nothing or to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place before you installed those plug-ins.

Regards,

Jose.

P.S. Unbelievable that WordPress even allow this type of plug-in to be listed on a WordPress plug-in directory. Absolutely disgusting.
