Schedule complete automatic backups of your WordPress installation. Decide which content will be stored (Dropbox, S3…). This is the free version
A backup plugin which doesn't have a RESTORE OPTION?! What is the use of that..it's like having a car that does not go in reverse! It is useless..I've spent 20 minutes learning how to use this plugin, configuring it and creating a backup, only to realize I can't restore my site from created backup?? You're lucky I didn't delete my site before realizing that!
I agree with RickC4: if there were zero stars you would get zero.
I was given a backup of a site made with this plugin and disappointed to find no restore option.
I searched the web and found loads of posts of people with the same problem.
Anyone who has done any kind of IT work will tell you a backup is USELESS without a rapid means to restore.
I have used BackupBuddy which is OK, albeit that it struggles with very large sites and it is a cinch to restore, it also makes it easy to restore to a dev sub domain
So now I have to rip the backwpup backup file apart, restore the database, hope that the standard WP_ prefix was used or else inspect the DB to figure out then go edit all the parts that refer to the old site domain.
Probably half a days work in that alone and only then if it goes smoothly.
If there were zero stars you would get zero.
I would not recommend anyone uses this plugin
nothing to do against. and no answers or solutions
It doesnt work. Everytime i get the same failure. The support is ......
I guess you should buy the pro-version!
Does not work
This plugin does not link to Dropbox, as advertised. Requests for support have gone unanswered... it seems there is little interest in correcting the problem.
I cannot connect with no one cloud storage just waste my time!!!
I tried it on a fairly big site and the plugin canceled the process. An other plugin is working fine. No need to go through an endless support process …
I installed this plugin and made a backup to my server, all relatively pain free. I could access my website this morning but after lunch I was locked out.
After hours of pulling my hair out and trying different ways to get into my site I disabled this plugin using FTP, and I could again log back on.
I don't know why this happened but this was not a pleasant experience.
Not user-friendly because it doesn't show you how to connect to your existing dropbox account for backup storage.
