Excellent update for a very under rated app!

You can't talk about the plugin without also talking about it's companion Android app. I've been using the original backpacktrack for about 3 1/2 years now. I use it exclusively for keeping track of trails I have hiked to display on my blog. The original app didn't have the ability to discern whether or not you were sitting still and it would continue to add tracks making the accuracy of tracks way off. You could get around this by stopping the app when you would pause, but sometimes I would forget to do this and it was a bit of a pain to edit these moments out of my gpx files after the fact. The new app has a thing called activity recognition that automatically pauses your tracks for you if you are sitting still. Backpacktrack is probably the best app for recording GPS tracks while keeping battery use at a minimum. The WordPress plugin is pretty much invisible once installed. Your android phone keeps track of where you go and then you upload your tracks through the app. The plugin handles creating the post for you once uploaded. The only thing I've changed in my install is the default output of a post. I wanted to use something other than xml google maps which have seemed to be a little buggy to me, so I edited the plugin to output to Google-Maps-GPX-Viewer format instead. Backpacktrack is probably one of my all time favorite apps. Thanks for continuing to develop it.
