Display a random image as the website background at each visit or as a timed slideshow, without the need to edit the theme.
Works flawlessly. Took some tweaking to get it exactly how I wanted, but looks great. For mobile versions, I substituted for a slider called "Slider WD", which I also highly recommend. Do note, background manager plugin is deprecated and no longer supported. But, most of it is straight CSS, and right now, it's working great in 4.1. I came on here after installing this to look for a Donate button for the author.
This Pugin does exactly what I need in my background. What else to say?! Perfect.
Maybe it's my theme or other plugin conflict, I use Virtue theme by Kadence and Admin Editor Pro plug in. But trouble now is Background Manager's Dashboard menu item shows up twice under Appearance. And on the Add New Image Set page there's a window for Image Selection that never allows me to select the image. I'm figuring out a workaround because I LOVE Background Manager. But wanted to report this.
Free and smart, perfect! It just works out of the box (custom theme). Thanks for that piece of good work!
I have been looking for a plugin like this for months!
Not more to say: It's simply awesome. Works like a charme and has a lot of settings, so you can fit it to your needs.
Works awesome straight out the box. Thanks.
No unpleasant surprises. Easy to use and owns highly configurable. For meticulous bloggers that work with images. Very powerful. Ideal for photographers and painters. And for code poets too!
I love you. I've been trying to make one of these myself for hours and failed endlessly. This plugin is everything I was looking for (you even have the image centered and resizing to fit the browser window!) and more. It's also incredibly easy to use. All around great.
