warning: does not work properly with WP 4.3+.
has not been updated in a year+.
best advise for now: avoid. keep moving on...
Looks like the Aqua Page Builder is deceased! I’m using a theme from Themeforest and they are telling me that Page Builder has some issues with the latest version of WordPress 4.3
Unfortunately it looks like developer Syamil MJ is showing no interest what so ever in fixing the compatibility issues.
Was excited to see all options that I could use to enhance my page from watching the demo, but there were only 6 blocks.
I paid for a theme (Bedford) and figured it would come with at least some more options than what the free plug-in offered.
Read the documentation about how to add my own, but since I don't have strong skills in the php coding department and the documentation wasn't showing anything more than adding social media blocks, this is no good to me.
The documentation also states that there is a link that has aqua page builder theme support, but when I go to the link nothing is listed.
I wish there was more documentation with custom code options that I could plug-in to make this more dynamic, because I see the potential.
when you put visual editors say three in a row when viewed on mobile device instead of stacking vertical they stay in horizontal line and squash up if it wasn't for that it would be one of the best page builders out there
Wp-Admin Bar isn't working as it is suppose to be.
It appears and then disappears.
When you wave over where it should be, then it is there, but it's not viewable.
It's really messing with my life!
I think it's interesting that the theme author chose to include this because it isn't current for WP 4.1 and yes, it is buggy. I have gotten no support whatsover from the theme author which is making development a lot harder than it should be. One issue is that the dropdown category widget, whether used in the page builder or the widget admin doesn't actually bring up the links. Also, I haven't figured out how to get private posts to stop showing up. It's hard to tell where all of this is coming from. Maybe it's just WP 4.1 but I suspect it's the page builder and again, surprised the theme author would use it. Guess I'm a guinea pig.
Superb plugin that suits all requirements. Its really slick and fast. Suits all commonly used widgets and tools. Must try this.
It was a nice plugin until WordPress 4. Now it is completely broken. It is not well coded if it breaks on new WP version like this.
When we installed the Immensely theme this plugin was part of the package. Aside from all the problems we've had with the theme and getting support the plugin was doing it's job. Until the latest update was released and all of our templates were deleted. On top of that it would appear that the author has gone awol so that leaves us to recreate all of those templates. We were using a lot of them because of the lack of flexibility in the shortcodes supplied with the theme.
I've used other plugins like this and they are so much better. This one is it's own separate page under the Appearance menu item in the admin panel. Other similar plugins integrate theirs right on the page so you can build your pages ON YOUR PAGES rather than creating a template and then having to call that template in the page and having confused clients who can't figure out where to update content.
Clunky, unreliable and not great.
Thanks a lot for working so hard Syamil!
