Include any widget in a page for any theme. [do_widget widgetname ] or [do_widget "widget name" ] [do_widget id=widgetnamedashed-n ]or inc
This plugin does what it advertises, but is awkward to use. You have to drag your widgets that you want to use in shortcodes to a special sidebar, then use the widget ID, which you will really only get by typing something random in a [do_widget id=example_widget_id] and then clicking on the resulting "Try Debug" link, which will tell you the widget ID's that exist in the aforementioned sidebar. This much-needed plugin (which should be a core feature) could be easier to use, but the end result gets me what I want.
This plugin is a good idea, but it doesn't actually work. When I try to use it, I get errors where the widget should display: You are admin: Try debug See a exclamation point ! above ?. Hover over to see error message.
thank you, this plugin extends usability and design to a whole different level
Just as described. Thanks so much!
Does its function well and is a life saver!
Works really fine and replaced nicely my old Widgets on Pages that was outdated.
Very simple to use & extends the functionality of so many widgets.
I even prefer to use this in several instances where the original widget's built-in shortcode is too cumbersome or incomplete.
this plugin looks very easy to use. Installed it with WP 4.1 + Avada Theme. I tried to place a widget with fusion builder in a page using the widget ID, but it didn't work. Too bad. Actually I would love to use this plugin.
Since 4.1 is not supported yet, I will wait. 5 stars for the way this plugin works with 4.0.1. Hope to see an update soon. ;)
I came to the realization that the layout I wanted wasn't going to work without using a widget in the page I was working on. This made it really simple to add the widget to the page without having to do any extra coding.
