Being somewhat new to wordpress, I've been struggling with finding my way around. While it seems there were easy ways to order posts, there was not real solution if you wanted to setup multiple pages linked in a specific order using dynamic previous-next links that would update by the page.
THIS PLUGIN DOES IT, AND MAKES IT A PIECE OF CAKE! For instance, I wanted my pages ordered by a customizeable field included with wordpress - menu_order. I simply added a shortcode
previous_page_link_plus(array('order_by' => 'menu_order')); next_page_link_plus(array('order_by' => 'menu_order'));
and Voila! Previous & Next Dynamic Page Links that are based on menu_order. Wish I had found this plugin before I wasted hours trying to figure out how to do it myself.
The best! I wish it was updated, even though it works fine with debugging on.
I've relied on this plugin for several sites now and it always delivers. Great plugin!
I was hoping to find something that worked like this! I was NOT, however, expecting so many variables and configuration options. Far above what I had dared hope to find. The instructions are excellent and include examples so you can figure out what it is you want it to do/look like. I highly commend the developer and recommend this to anyone looking for this type of functionality.
This plugin (along with the post_link_plus version) is great. Both should really be integrated into the WordPress core. It's far superior to the regular post_link and non-existent page_link.
