Great plugin, but lacks compatibility with WP "Edit Image" functionality
By ,

I like this plugin, but it does not hook into WordPress' "Edit Image" functionality. WordPress shows that the image has been resized (printed dimensions change on the page), but the image is not resized and saved to S3.

Works, with frustrating limitations
By , for WP 3.9.1

This works great if you only need images uploaded to s3 from your pages, posts or generic media library. The plugin only sends files to s3 that are uploaded to wp-content/uploads/YYYY/MM.

Many media related plugins create their own directories inside of the wp-content/uploads directory and this plugin does not support the ability to send those files to S3.

Not quite there for me
By , for WP 3.8.1

I really wanted this to work, but I had some issues. I don't know if it was the plugin or the theme I was using, but certain things stopped working after I set this up. It was mainly related to the featured image.

  • Featured images were not showing up on my post index page
  • Featured image was not showing in the related posts box
  • If I chose to show the featured image on the top of my post, it was not being displayed
