Rewrites Amazon.com/Amzn.com and forwards the visitor to 'their' country specific Amazon store (using IP Geolocation).
It replaces existing links to amazon.com, so I don't need to use the link syntax of other plugins.
Latest version can replace keyword searches too.
Amazon links are untouched as far as I can see.
This is from their website:
...1% of your visitors/clicks will be using our affiliate ID instead of yours. We will also add our ID if you don't specify one for a certain Amazon store your user is redirected to.
This may not be a big deal for you. Just be aware that it's happening.
The a-fwd this plugin uses service seems to randomly replace the affiliate IDs you supply with it's own in order to syphon off your earnings.
If you don't want this, maybe Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer is a better alternative.
Very useful for my company blog. A lot of my customers are from across Europe (mostly Austria, France, the UK) and it was a big hassle to put up so many different links. Now everybody gets the right one without any additional work.
Also it couldn't be easier to set up. Thanks!
Seems to work properly. My amazon.com links are replaced by a-fwd.com links. And the a-fwd links redirect me to the right amazon (German in my case).
