All-in-One WP Migration is the only tool that you will ever need to migrate a WordPress site.
always get this error at 99% of progress bar
Ensure that file permissions are correctly set-up - 775 or 777 to /xxxxxxx/htdocs/wp-content directory and all files and folders that it contains.
try to set 775 and 777 as the message said. waste time for 4 hours...decide to buy another plugin.
this plugin used to work very well a year ago...
until you added that 512 mb limit.
This plugin used to be awesome, but it was upgraded a few weeks ago and since then it has been super glitchy. It is slower, it crashes and it wastes my time (but it does have some new fancy graphics lol), I have no idea why they chose to change a plugin that worked perfectly and why they did such a bad job, but its a shame.
in principle the idea is complete. in practice these guys have almost no idea of how to execute the idea properly. they are way off the curve and are actually charging for this plugin lol. i would expect it will take another 12 months of development before this plugin is actually fit for purpose. if you're a professional web developer DO NOT use this plugin.
Plus side, it will move some sites simply and quickly but only use if you know absolutely nothing about wordpress and don't value your professional time.
20/04/2015: Forget my advice the old versions have stopped working for me too. This plugin is doing my head in!!!
16/04/2015: After trying to use the latest version on a couple of sites. I have to say the latest update is buggy and a massive step in the wrong direction. You have taken an awesome plugin and made it terrible.
My advice - get a copy of an OLD version and use that until its sorted.
12/04/2015: Since updated the export file size has increased massively. However support has been fantastic and hopefully I will be able to turn this review back to 5 stars once the problem has been resolved.
Happy so far, still got some changes to make before I can say for certain that it has implemented everything 100%. I didn't need to upgrade to the unlimited version.
I try import my wp recieved the sucess message but then everytime i try access the site or the wordpress panel that message appears.
The server http://sigmasysengenharia.com.br:80 require a username and password. The server says: Sigmasys Administrative.
I try use my ftp user and password, my wp user and password.. everything, and nothing happens.
my wp directory is http://sigmasysengenharia.com.br/tecnologia
when I've import to live site it said can't find plugin, and my theme is broken too.
I installed this plugin on a development site hosted locally for the purpose of migrating the site to an active server. The export works fine, but when I attempted to import the archive file to the new server (with the exact same version of WP), it says the "Archive file is not compatible with the plugin". How in the HELL is it "not compatible" when the file was generated BY the plugin???
After I wrote here that it's a good stuff, I've found out, that the migration overwritten all my existing database files, with the migrated ones, however they aren't had the same name, nor prefix.
So I think it's a very big problem, if you migrate a site to a "shared" database it will delete your whole database... and it doesn't made a backup from it or anything, just delete and overwrite, so I'm phoning now with the hosting guy hoping he has a backup of my jobs.
Thanks a lot!
It just doesn't work..
Site could not be imported!
Archive file is not compatible with the plugin! Please verify your archive file.
