Worst plugin ever
So far all file are copied and placed correctly, but the database is not touched? hmm..
If I get it to work I'll update the review.
Tried to downgrade the plugin to (first. 4.11,4.10 then) 4.9, now I could finally successful export the database. But now when I try to import it on the site (Also down graded to 4.9) It just got stuck on the spinning arrows and kept spinning.
So now, after waaaay to much time (over 6 hours) trying to get the plugin to work, I thought I'd try duplicator instead, and I'm sorry to say, it worked 100% a first try..
Thanks for your time and support, but I'll go with duplicator.
all important features are commercial not only commercial but expensive
Ok so I see this plug in download it , watch the video and do all the steps.
After doing everything I go to import my file and guess what pops up ?
The file that you are trying to import is over the maximum upload file size limit of 512 MB.
You can remove this restriction by purchasing our Unlimited Extension.
Yup 60 dollars to use the plug in.. Thanks for wasting my time and sneaking in that at the very end.
Ever since they changed to a proprietary file format this plugin does not do its job properly. Today it crashed my browser (firefox, latest stable) AGAIN, and it crashed it badly: it opened that 43MB .wp file in a tab instead of prompting me to the download! I had to restart my computer and my browser session is lost!
This is an inconvenience that happens more often than not and I´ve got enough! On top of that, even if I managed to download the file (by right clicking on the download-buttom and "save as") the backups sometimes work, sometimes crash that new installation. I´ve used it a lot since I´m a webdesigner and I´m just so fed up with this that I take your "please leave us a review" and leave you a review:
Your plugin was so nice, back in V2.01 when it just gave you a .zip of all files and the database-table. Now I would only recommend it to my worst enemy.
"All In One Migration" is not reliable for any production, regardless of size. They killed something really good and try to sell the undead version as "better". What a shame.
I understand that you (the developers) need to earn money with such a project, but the direction you took is just plain stupid. You could have done better by sticking to the simple files-in-zip style. That options like "save to dropbox, ftp, etc" could easily have been availible only for the "pro"-version. But like that with your fancy .wp - file format THAT FAILS REGULARLY, I say: in the trashbin it goes. For good.
0/10 wouldn´t recommend. Unreliable and broken pluign.
I sure as heck don't know how you other folks are getting this to work, all it does it lockup and do nothing! I suppose if I pay the $79 it might work, but to save it to a file it does not work! Very disappointed as I have several sites to move!!!!!
Apparently you have to review the plugin before it completes the migration. How could I possibly review a plugin before it performs what I need to to do. We shall see.
Get stuck everytime!
They make you review the plugin before you can even see if it actually worked or not. Doesn't make much sense, does it?
