A calendar system with many views, upcoming events widget, color-coded categories, recurrence, and import/export of .ics feeds.
Used to be one of the bests and free. Then they made it non free and now things breaks on updates. Now it don't work on the theme which I spent ages to set up and the theme have been being in use for long.
Moreover, although I am a paying customer they update things and those functions that were included in the premium package when I paid are now taken out into add-on's while I am still within the annual subscription contract and without paying extra, some of the functions would not work. Outrageous!
Also I initially registered as a user using one of the social media logins they used to offer, but they removed it and I can not even log on as a customer any more and so I can't submit a support request. I have contacted them a couple of times by phone but they no longer provide a phone number to contact them :(
This was once the best calendar plugin available. The new pricing model, module breakouts and support are terrible. The plugin is always causing problems on several site.
Do yourself a favor and keeping looking.
Thats one more problem.
More problems than solutions
Don't expect answers in a "timely" manner. I've had an outstanding tech support question for 10 days.
My previous tech support question was "abandoned" by them after a couple of tries at a solution.
I'm using the feed-import to import several Events. But every second refresh of the feed deletes all events.
This plugin put such a heavy load on the server that the host contacted me about it.
I ran "P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler)" and found that it is sucking up 68% of up plugin runtime.
This plugin ads hundreds of lines of code to the header, slowing down page load immensely, especially on a shared host.
Shame, because the front end functions are quite good.
Also, when installed Safari location services asks to use my location in backend, I can only assume it's this plugin. Maybe it;s used to help set location based settings, But I suspect it's more for marketing intelligence. Either way it's to disruptive. Especially for my clients who lack technical knowledge.
