Produces attractive, footnotes that are capable of containing HTML data, like images or links, simply by including them in the text.

The plugin does what it claims, but the settings cannot be saved on my installation.
Upon saving the changes, I keep getting this mysterious message:
"There were errors processing this form."
I wanted an easy, customizable plugin to manage the footnotes on my longer pages & sub-pages, and this one delivers. Since my theme doesn't include a right-hand sidebar, I was pleased that this plugin includes a pop-up feature that mimics the effect of "side notes."
I've noticed just a few small things on ver. 1.0 that need fixing. For no apparent reason, some of my superscript footnote indicators in the main text have an extra space before the number. As a result, some of the links look a tad sloppy. Another thing that bothers me is the fact that the pop-ups don't appear consistently in the same place relative to the text. Some appear right up against the text, sometimes overlapping it, while others appear several centimeters to the right, almost at the edge of my screen. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between this irregular placement and the position of the footnote in the text, but I could've missed something.
In the end, however, I highly recommend this plugin and hope that updates are on the way.
This plugin is awesome the fact that you don't need CSS to change the look and feel of the plugin is great (there's a color picker, instead.)
